I’ve been very happily living the silly single lady life for a very loooong while. It’s just me and my cat and WHATEVER we want, WHENEVER we want. Which I actually really like for the most part!! But sometimes I wish that a cute boy would fall from the sky who I could share some of my excitement with… that perfect boy curiously hanging in the clouds would be:
An animal lover! What boy doesn’t like their feet warmed by fluffy cat and chicken pate kisses?!
Unabashedly silly and loooves my sense of silliness (it’s quite silly)!
Intelligent, and likes staying up to date with the news of the day!
Full of funny jokes and silly puns!
Doesn’t smoke or party (not my thing!)
UnIqUe and CREATIVE!!! Someone who is up for spontaneous rainbow painting sessions!
Likes video games and collecting things!
Adventurous and would be up for going on a long walk or bike ride through a forest somewhere. I have no sense of direction so it WOULD be an adventure!
Hopeless romantic! *_*
Kind and polite to ALL people
And…. adorable and tall with good teeth and thick curly perfect hair and a colourful snappy sense of style! Hey, I can dream!
Someone who would make my life MORE fun, but not change any of the happiness I currently have going on. 🙂
Oh I definitely have put a lot of thought into this one!!
More money, more… CATS! I would love to spend my life rescuing and taking care of tons of cats. The price of cat food and vet bills is the only thing stopping me from having dozens right now because as much of a kooky cat lady as I am, I would only adopt those that I could give the *BEST* life to! 😀
And then a bigger and even BRIGHTER pink home in the middle of a forest somewhere with more places for all those cats! I dream of having cat ramps and cat trees all over the place… very chic!
Buy more craft supplies. The more I craft, the more I realize how much stuff you need (or think you need…!) and it’s PRICEY. That big pink house would need to have a massive craft room as well! With an entire rainbowy wall of yarn and supplies.
Last but not least, I’d have all the time in the world to accomplish all of my exciting fun goals!
My worst habit is probably my love for soda pop/soft drinks… I don’t really drink coffee or tea, but instead start the day off with a tall cold glass of Diet Coke! I can’t get enough of the fizzy bubbly coldness, and then of course start feeling terrible when I don’t get to have it for a while.
I definitely need to start exchanging pop for good ol’ tasty water! I always find I like really like water when I pour out a nice chilly glass, but just thinking about it just seems so… BORING!
Other silly habits of mine are eye rolling, my love for cake frosting, nibbling on pens when I’m nervous, and cracking every single joint in my body (it’s sounds so nasty on other people, but feels amazing when I pop things)!
I find the time after Christmas to be a bit sad of the energy and bright coziness of the season is gone… so like the HAPPY post on Christmas, this seems like quite an appropriate topic. But I’m trying to stay POSITIVE and make this the best day EVER!!
Before we get to the HAPPY again, a couple of my not favourite things… People hurting other people and animals, when other people are sad, jealousy and comparing myself to others, worrying about what other people think about me, not doing things when my anxiety gets a hold of me, and giving up on my goals.
I’ve been busy crafting to get over some of the blue feelings that are creeping in my brain! I love doing something that lets you COMPLETELY leave the real world behind…
Getting over some of the things that make me sad and anxious is going to be a big part of the next year. So instead I’m going to turn to the happy things in life… and just BE ME!
Ho ho ho!!! If you celebrate, hope you are busy chowing down on sweet tasty treats and spending time with those you love!
This past year was full of new and exciting adventures for me, one of which was finally learning to KNIT! I started last December, but the year got away from me and didn’t pick up my needles as much as I really wanted to.
I found a pattern for Christmas tree ornaments, and was able to give them away as gifts this year. 🙂
The pattern is very easy. Just two tree shaped layers done in a simple relaxing garter stitch and sewn together. Plus SEQUINS and other bits of happiness! They took me about an hour and a half each (including a couple of froggings!!)
You can find the pattern here on Ravelry for free!
I had a big plan to squeeze in many more Christmassy knitting projects, but ran out of time! Never to early to start for next year I guess!
