From brand new bikes and months, to vaccines and ice cream, this has been a whirlwind of a week!!
I found myself taking lots of pictures and thought it would be a good time to bring back Sunday Snaps on this blog as it’s just a fun way of capturing little moments in my life that Instagram doesn’t always cover. When I started this blog it was with the full intent of sharing fun “week in the life” posts frequently, and I haven’t been overly consistent I’ll admit ~ but it’s time to bring some happy fun times back!
Can you believe it’s JULY? Half of this year has zipped by!
Work was b-u-s-y BUSY!!! I’m still working from home so I didn’t really have much of a chance to get up from my desk at all as it was end of quarter in the corporate world. Genuinely felt like Aggretsuko most of the time. Perhaps I should take up heavy metal ;).
Accomplished a lot so I did end up splurging on myself and bought a BIKE! This is Amelia Pedalia the Cruiser and I’m in love!
I spent ALL DAY Thursday, which was a day off here in Canada, putting her together. Hopefully some fun cruises down the street will help me calm down a bit on the stressful days.
I was able to squeeze in some very early morning exercise and met up with my good pal – Licorice von Boots the Cat! He happily accepted some scratches.
And spotted this little sweetie in the forest! Mama was watching me closely and I kept my distance of course. Little baby was curious.
Today I got my second dose of COVID vaccine (Moderna).
I haven’t really been out at all during the pandemic, so I don’t usually get to get to put together outfits as much anymore so dressing up a bit was FUN!
Had a craving for ice cream before I left, so I threw on an ice cream brooch and my absolutely adorable Loungefly Pokemon Ice Cream bag! A couple of people complimented how cheery I looked so I thought that was fun!
I didn’t have any side effects with the first dose of the vaccine, so fingers crossed for the same thing this time. Feeling great so far!
I’m looking forward to many more adventures in a couple of weeks when I can safely get out.
Until next time, Erika! xoxo
